What the register knows right now

Every figure on this page is calculated from the approved reviews currently in the register. Nothing is typed in by hand and nothing is estimated. When a new review is approved, these numbers move on their own.

Methodology

Only reviews with an approved moderation status are counted. A review is written by a student who confirmed their status by email; the email itself is never published and is not visible to anyone browsing the site.

An overall score is the mean of the categories that a review actually rated. Buildings, universities and categories with small samples are labelled as a thin sample: treat those figures as a signal, not as a statistically settled result. There is no paid placement and no editorial override anywhere on this page.

London student accommodation rankings

Rankings calculated automatically from verified student reviews. Updates as new reviews come in. No editorial picks, no paid placements. Buildings need at least 3 approved reviews to be eligible, and scores are weighted so a hall with a handful of reviews cannot outrank a well-reviewed one on a lucky streak.

How rankings work

A hall needs at least 3 published reviews to be eligible. Each review rates repairs, cleanliness, safety, value and Wi-Fi from 1–5; the overall score is the mean of those category averages. Where scores tie, the hall with more reviews ranks higher, because its score is more reliable.
